Important: By accessing our website, making a booking, or using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use our services.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Customer," "Passenger," or "you") and CheapTravelsUK ("Company," "we," "our," or "us").
We recommend printing or saving a copy of these Terms for your records.
In these Terms, the following terms shall have the meanings ascribed below:
- "Booking" means a confirmed reservation for flight services made through our platform
- "Carrier" or "Airline" means the airline operating the flight
- "Fare" means the price charged for the flight, including taxes, fees, and surcharges
- "Itinerary" means the travel document containing flight details and booking reference
- "Services" means flight booking, rescheduling, cancellation, and related services we provide
- "Ticket" means the electronic or paper document entitling you to travel on a specific flight
- "Third-Party Services" means services provided by entities other than CheapTravelsUK
CheapTravelsUK acts as an intermediary between passengers and airlines. Our services include:
- Flight Search & Comparison: Helping you find and compare flights from various airlines
- Booking Services: Processing flight reservations on your behalf
- Rescheduling: Assisting with flight date/time changes (subject to airline policies and fees)
- Cancellation & Refund: Processing cancellation requests and refund claims
- Customer Support: Providing assistance before, during, and after your journey
Important: CheapTravelsUK is a travel agent and not the operator of any flights. All flights are operated by respective airlines subject to their own terms and conditions of carriage.
Booking Process:
- Search for flights using our website or by contacting our team
- Select your preferred flight option and provide accurate passenger details
- Review all details carefully before confirming the booking
- Complete payment to secure your booking
- Receive confirmation via email with your itinerary and booking reference
Payment:
- Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed
- We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, and bank transfer
- All payments are processed securely through PCI DSS-compliant payment processors
- You must be authorised to use the payment method provided
Warning: Providing fraudulent payment information or using unauthorised payment methods is strictly prohibited and may result in booking cancellation, legal action, and reporting to authorities.
Pricing:
- All prices are displayed in British Pounds Sterling (£) unless otherwise stated
- Prices include applicable taxes, fees, and surcharges unless explicitly excluded
- Prices are subject to change without prior notice until a booking is confirmed
- We strive to display accurate prices but errors may occasionally occur
Availability:
- Flight availability is subject to real-time changes by airlines
- A displayed flight does not guarantee availability until booking is confirmed
- If a booked flight becomes unavailable, we will offer alternatives or a full refund
Pricing Errors: In the event of a manifest pricing error, we reserve the right to cancel the booking and issue a full refund. We will make reasonable efforts to offer the correct price or similar alternatives.
Changes & Rescheduling:
- Changes are subject to airline policies, fare rules, and availability
- Change fees and fare differences may apply as determined by the airline
- CheapTravelsUK may charge an additional service fee for processing changes
- Changes must be requested before the scheduled departure time
Cancellations:
- Cancellation policies vary by airline, fare type, and time of cancellation
- Some fares are non-refundable or partially refundable
- Cancellation fees will be deducted from any refund amount
- No-show passengers are typically not entitled to any refund
Refunds:
- Eligible refunds will be processed to the original payment method
- Refund processing time: 7-21 business days (varies by payment provider and airline)
- Refund amounts are subject to airline approval and applicable policies
Note: CheapTravelsUK does not guarantee refunds. All refund decisions are subject to airline policies and regulations. Please check the fare rules carefully before booking.
As a passenger, you are responsible for:
- Accurate Information: Providing correct and complete passenger details (name as on passport, date of birth, etc.)
- Name Corrections: Errors in passenger names may incur charges or result in denied boarding
- Check-in: Completing online check-in and arriving at the airport at least 2-3 hours before departure
- Travel Documents: Ensuring you have valid passport, visa, and any required travel documents
- Baggage: Complying with airline baggage policies and paying any applicable fees
- Conduct: Behaving appropriately during the flight and complying with crew instructions
- Health Requirements: Meeting any health, vaccination, or medical requirements
Liability: CheapTravelsUK is not responsible for any loss, expense, or inconvenience caused by your failure to comply with these responsibilities.
You are solely responsible for obtaining and carrying all necessary travel documents, including but not limited to:
- Valid passport with at least 6 months validity beyond your travel date
- Valid visa for your destination country (and transit countries if applicable)
- Return or onward travel tickets (if required by destination)
- Health certificates, vaccination records, or medical clearances
- Travel insurance documentation
Important: CheapTravelsUK does not provide visa advice. It is your responsibility to verify all entry requirements with the relevant embassy or consulate. We are not liable if you are denied boarding or entry due to missing or invalid documents.
Flight delays and cancellations are the responsibility of the operating airline, not CheapTravelsUK.
Your Rights (EU261/UK261):
- For flights departing from the UK/EU, or arriving in the UK/EU on a UK/EU carrier, you may be entitled to compensation, assistance, and care under UK261/EU261 regulations
- Compensation amounts vary based on flight distance and delay duration
- Airlines must provide meals, refreshments, accommodation (if overnight), and communication
Our Role:
- We will assist you in contacting the airline and understanding your rights
- We can help with rebooking on alternative flights (subject to availability)
- We cannot pay compensation directly—this is the airline's responsibility
ATOL Protection: If your booking is ATOL-protected, you will receive an ATOL Certificate. In the event of airline insolvency, you may be entitled to a refund or alternative travel through the ATOL scheme.
Our Liability:
- CheapTravelsUK acts as an agent and our liability is limited to our service fees
- We are not liable for flight operations, schedules, delays, cancellations, or service quality
- We are not liable for loss, damage, or injury caused by airlines, airports, or third parties
- We are not liable for consequential, indirect, or punitive damages
Exclusions:
- We are not responsible for events beyond our reasonable control
- We are not liable for errors in information provided by third parties (airlines, airports)
- We are not liable for any loss resulting from your failure to comply with these Terms
Maximum Liability: Our total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the service fees paid by you for the specific booking in question.
Montreal Convention: For international flights, airline liability is governed by the Montreal Convention, which limits compensation for death, injury, and baggage loss. For domestic UK flights, the Carriage by Air Acts apply.
Neither party shall be liable for failure or delay in performing obligations due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters (earthquakes, floods, hurricanes, volcanic eruptions)
- Pandemics, epidemics, or public health emergencies
- Government actions, war, terrorism, civil unrest
- Air traffic control restrictions, airport closures
- Strikes or industrial action (by airlines, airports, or other parties)
- Technical failures affecting aviation systems
In such events, we will:
- Use reasonable efforts to assist you with alternatives or refunds
- Follow airline and government guidance regarding cancellations and credits
- Not be liable for any additional costs incurred
All content on our website, including but not limited to:
- Text, graphics, logos, images, and videos
- Software, code, and website design
- Trademarks, service marks, and trade names
- Database compilations and proprietary information
are owned by or licensed to CheapTravelsUK and protected by intellectual property laws.
You may not:
- Copy, reproduce, or distribute our content without permission
- Use our trademarks or branding without authorisation
- Scrape, data mine, or extract information from our website
- Create derivative works based on our content
When using our services, you agree not to:
- Provide false, misleading, or fraudulent information
- Make speculative, fake, or fraudulent bookings
- Use automated systems or bots to access our website
- Attempt to interfere with or disrupt our website or services
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Impersonate any person or entity
- Harass, abuse, or threaten our staff or other users
Breach Consequences: Violation of these conduct rules may result in immediate termination of your account, cancellation of bookings without refund, and legal action where appropriate.
Informal Resolution:
In the event of a dispute, please contact us first at legal@cheaptravelsuk.com. We will attempt to resolve the issue within 30 days through good-faith negotiation.
Mediation:
If informal resolution fails, either party may request mediation through a recognised UK mediation service. Both parties agree to participate in good faith.
Arbitration:
If mediation fails, the dispute shall be referred to arbitration under the rules of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. The arbitration shall be conducted in English, and the arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding.
Exceptions: Nothing in this clause prevents either party from seeking injunctive relief or other equitable remedies from courts of competent jurisdiction.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes not resolved through the mechanisms in Section 14 shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and CheapTravelsUK regarding our services.
Changes: We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting on our website. Your continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
